I have had two Chi flat irons. While they do a greatstraightener job in straightening your hair, both of mine just suddenly quit working after about a year and a half after purchasing. I thought the first time was a fluke so I purchased another one. It suddenly died too. I'm done with Chi. They aren't cheap so this shouldn't happen. I'm sure I can find another flat iron that works just as well and lasts much longer. I got this for christmas from this website and it has broke 3 times i have sent it back twice i believe but they charge you to send it back for the warranty in the end i was very disappointed i have ended up being left with nothing to do my hair with i finally gave up when it wouldnt turn on again and bought a straightener from the salon I used at my friend's house,worked perfectly. Used it at my neighbor's house, worked perfect once again. Hoping to get one for Christmas I have thick, wavy hair that gets soo frizzy duringthe day. I have gone through multiple $20-$30 flat irons without success. They took forever to get my hair straight and left it frizzy and damaged, the straightness wearing off quickly.
